Day Program services are provided at several center based facilities in the community and some site based programs at the residences. The community based programs are located in Sauquoit, Utica, Barneveld and Boonville. The large programs support 40 to 65 people at each site. The purpose of the Day Programs is to provide opportunities to help people learn skills that will enable them to participate as active, vital members of the community. The activities are individualized and focus on community service and volunteerism. Examples of these activities include: making a purchase at a store, completing volunteer work for a local hospital, church, restaurant or animal shelter, taking a book out at the library, and particpating in meaningful activities at the day program site.
