The Annual Buddy Walk to promote awareness and inclusion of children with Down Syndrome will be held on Sunday, October 5, 2008 at Hanna Park in downtown Utica.

The Buddy Walk is a one-mile awareness event that promotes the advocacy of friends and family members and the inclusion and acceptance of individuals with Down Syndrome. This event provides an opportunity to understand, appreciate and see these individuals for who they truly are...Able, Unique, Gifted and Diverse! The Buddy Walk is presented by the Mohawk Valley Down Syndrome Support and Awareness Group, a program of Upstate Cerebral Palsy.
